Get rated on Fiverr

  • Just like getting number one in Google, reaching a high “rank” on Fiverr is one of the most effective ways to gain traction for their service.
  • No matter what you offer, having a high rank on any of the "category" pages is what gives you the ability to define precisely what you're trying to achieve in terms of growth with the service.

The point is that while providing a service (that delivers actual results) is of paramount importance, there are a number of things you can do to encourage the growth of your brand/account using a series of 'tricks'/ 'tactics' to help improve your overall rank...

Before we get started, the most important thing to realize is that Fiverr doesn't really want you to "modify" their system. You generally get more of what you don't need (not what you actually need), and as such if you "need" the arrangement, you generally won't feel its benefits.

You need to offer a service that is already running before you even think about arranging your own parties...

With that apart, it's important to first understand that Fiverr - like Google - uses a number of "factors" to determine which gigs appear at the top of their category pages.

These are the factors you need to focus on to ensure that you are able to get the most effective ranks in the system. To this end, the factors are as follows:

  • Reviews (number and rating)
  • Number of requests (including in queue)
  • Profile complete (Is your profile complete)
  • "Gig" quality (additional services, photos, etc.)
  • Keywords

If you are able to effectively "optimize" your gigs to meet the above requirements, you'll have a better chance of making progress. However, it does not guarantee success or buyers ...

Each time you "complete" an order, the buyer is asked to leave a review. This usually means that it will provide the user with feedback and a "star" rating to indicate the quality of the work provided. Obviously, having a healthy account with many five-star orders means that Fiverr will value the account's input, and therefore be more inclined to rank higher. There is no other way to get reviews than to submit good work. While you may want to create several smaller "gigs" (writing a $5 article or something) to get some buyers quickly, the general way Fiverr ranks results are based on the number of reviews over a sustained period.

2-number of orders

Some "gigs" are bought on Fiverr at a rate of 40+ per day. These requests tell Fiverr that the service provided by the account is not only in demand but of high quality. To that end, if you are looking to rank highly, it would obviously be beneficial to get a number of new orders on a daily basis. The only way to speed it up is to provide a very good service at a very cheap price. For example, if you have an SEO service - offer it at 50% of the price you normally hope to make for the first three months. This will give you the ability to attract more passing buyers as you build the "party" of something more substantial.

3-Profile complete

Make sure you upload a good profile picture, list your qualifications/achievements, and generally provide people with the ability to identify your core strengths without having to tell them. They say success leaves clues. Your profile should be a "tattoo" of the quality of your business - which means that if you're serious about rating your gigs on their platform, you should make sure that each of your gigs has the most relevant content in its description and high-quality images and you reply to any requests quickly and completely.

4-quality "gigs"

After that, the "quality" of any gigs posted on the system is also important. Adding additional services, writing a full "description" of the service, and generally owning a system that allows people to provide users with the ability to see what they're buying before they pay - allowing users to get the most out of the system in the most efficient way. It's generally a good idea to add multiple price ranges to your gig, as well as make sure you have any of the basic versions written correctly.

Finally, your party "keywords" are very important. If you add a number of keywords, make them specific to the service you are looking to provide. This not only ensures that you are able to get the most out of the system, but Fiverr is able to provide the gig effectively in search results, etc.

As mentioned, these are just guidelines. If you want more information on how to make money with Fiverr, you basically need to provide a service and present it in a way that focuses on specific results.
