Step-by-step instructions for creating a free WordPress blog

  • Every once in a while, creating an amateur blog is a troublesome idea, but by the following clarification, you will find that creating a blog on WordPress is very simple, and not worth all the dread.
  • The clarification here is committed to creating a blog on WordPress.com… WordPress.com is the ultimate answer to creating and facilitating a blog, so in this case, you just need to register on WordPress.com, after that, you start creating your blog, and in a matter of minutes you should be fully enabled ( All this will be explained comprehensively at this point).
  • WordPress.com has many premium and paid plans, yet it also enables you to create a completely free WordPress blog.

Before starting work, you should mark some important points first, work after a short time, and outline the outlines that you expect to follow, to achieve the best results later.

Points to be identified before creating a WordPress blog

Define the name of the blog:

The name must be related to the field you will be working in, or related to the materials you want to distribute.

It would be ideal for you to also look carefully, and make sure that there is no blog with a similar name now. In this case, you should constantly keep alternate names.

Define a payment plan:

You can continuously exploit the free "com" plan that WordPress offers, yet know that your blog will be only a sub-area for a WordPress webpage like this: wordpress.yoursitename.com.
One way or the other, you can constantly move up to paid plans from here on out, so your site name isn't connected to WordPress like yoursitename.com.

Here is a link to the WordPress site that allows you to compare the plans it offers and their prices: https://ar.wordpress.com/pricing

As a matter of fact, the decision in the previously mentioned plans is because of the size, reason, and spending plan of the blog. Here we prompt novices with the free arrangement initially, to investigate the work first, foster thoughts, and measure the chance of accomplishment, and when you feel that you are remaining on strong ground and need to develop your blog, you can move up to the paid arrangement easily.

Determine the purpose of creating a blog:

You should define your goal for creating a blog before you start creating it. You must decide whether the blog is intended for entertainment, marketing, or utility.

You should also specify the desired goal to reach through your blog, do you need it as a blog for your loved ones and serve as a file for your musical compositions, or do you want to convey your inclinations to the world and strive to reach the largest number of guests.

This of course contributes to shaping the decision of which payment plan you want to sign up for.

Create an integrated plan for your blog:

You can make progress with a solid and clear arrangement, you need to limit the times you need to distribute each day or week, you also need to choose to either recruit different bloggers or get enough of yourself.

If you have any desire to create a niche blog, you should also come up with a promotion plan to help other people reach your blog and the topics on it.

Now you are ready to start with the real steps of creating a blog on WordPress.

What are the steps to create a free wordpress blog?

Fortunately, WordPress is available in most languages of the world, and this makes the task of creating a WordPress blog much easier and simpler

In the following points, we will explain the explanation of creating a free WordPress blog

The first step:

Log in to WordPress by clicking on this link

https://wordpress.com.

Click on Start your website or get started👍.

The second step:

You will be directed to a page with 3 data that you must enter: email, username (a compound name without commas), and password, as shown in the image below:

The third step:

When you click on the follow button, you will be taken to a page after which there are other requests

  1. In the first field, type the name of the blog (choose an appropriate name for your new blog).
  2. In the second box, write the field or specialization to which your blog belongs.
  3. In the third box, choose the goal you want to create the blog for.
  4. In the fourth box, specify your level of experience in creating websites.
  5. After filling in the information, click on the Continue button.

The fourth step:

After pressing the continue button, you will be taken to another step.

In this step you have to choose your blog's domain name, which will be your WordPress.com blog URL.

Your choice here depends largely on the plan you want to subscribe to, for example, if you want to subscribe to one of the paid packages, in this case you can choose a direct domain name for your blog, but if you want to create a free blog, the word you will choose will appear as a subdomain like this: yourblog. wordpress.com.

Anyway, in this step, you have to choose one of the words that express your blog's activity, after that you can click on the search sign on the left of the rectangle. Here, WordPress will suggest you a bunch of available options (the domain name is something unique and non-recurring, so the probability that the word you put will be available will be below).

Here I typed my name (Peter) in the domain name selection rectangle, and then WordPress suggested a list of available domain names related to the word “Peter”.

Then you have to choose the appropriate domain for you from the domains that WordPress will display to you

You can of course change the word and retry and experiment as you like, in order to get the best available domain name suitable for your blog.

For me here in my example, I chose the free alternative directly, by pressing the "Choose" button next to it.

Fifth step:

After selecting the domain name by pressing a radio button, you will be taken to the page to select the package or plan you wish to subscribe to. With it, you find 4 plans with some information on each of them, as shown in the photo below.

Choose the plan that best suits you, then click on the “Start with……” button for that. If you choose one of the paid plans, WordPress will direct you to the payment page to complete the payment process.

In my example here, I chose the free plan and then clicked the start free button (the first option on the right).

Sixth step:

After choosing the appropriate plan, you will go to the page shown below, after which WordPress will create your blog, you just need to wait for a few minutes for your WordPress blog to be created.

Seventh step:

Once the blog is created, you will be taken to the dashboard of the created blog.

In this step, complete the blog data, which is to upload an icon for the blog, and once it is loaded, you may find more suggestions to complete your blog data in this top rectangle.

You will also find in the control panel the statistics of the blog, whether views of the topics, the number of visitors, the number of likes, the number of comments, etc. On the right, you will find a column with all the WordPress features, in which you can start creating sections and topics, upload an image or video to your blog, and do all kinds of other settings.

Eighth step:

To create a new topic for your blog, click on the Add button next to the blog posts in the left column in the previous image, or click on the Write button at the top right.

Then you will be taken to the edit article page.

Type the article title, then type the content. In the middle of the page, you will find the text, paragraph, and image formatting bar.

Above the format bar on the left, you will find a button that will take you to the HTML version. This allows programming professionals to write HTML and CSS code to present the article and its content in a more professional way.

The Add button is located at the far north of the layout bar, which allows you to add visual media be it images, videos, or GIFs, and you can also add media from Google such as "Google drive", and "Google Photos" and "Google Maps".

After you have finished writing the article, you can press the publish button in the menu on the left or press the preview button to preview the article before actually publishing it, and you will find the ability to preview the article on smartphone devices as well.

Ninth step:

Choose the look and feel of your blog (choose the theme)

WordPress Theme or WordPress Theme: It is the blog theme in terms of colors, layout, and everything related to the visual aspect of the blog design. WordPress provides some templates for free and you can choose from them as you wish using

Click the "Templates" button in the right column of your control page.

When you click the "Templates" button, a set of templates will appear in front of you.

To apply one of these templates to your blog, click on the three dots at the bottom left of the template image, and a list of some options will appear in front of you. By clicking on try and customize option, you can preview your blog on this template, and by clicking on activate button, you can apply this template on your blog.

You can also upload your own templates (outside of WordPress) via the free "FTP" protocol for uploading files and folders.

tenth step:

detect location

Click the "Customize" button in the menu on the right (as in the image above next to Templates), in which you can write a brief summary of the blog's activity and purpose, add colors, backgrounds, fonts, and cover photo for the blog, select the look of the menus, home page settings, and that As shown in the image below.
